Day temperatures high in Himachal Pradesh, J

Pune, Apr 23 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Maharashtra Marathawada, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karanataka and were above normal in some parts of Assam, coastal Orissa, Uttaranchal, Haryana, east Rajasthan and Vidarbha.

They were appreciably below normal in Manipur and were below normal in sum parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, interior Orissa, east Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch and of south Tamil Nadu.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Andaman and Nicobar and at few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim.

Rain or thundershowers have occured at isolated places in Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, north Rajasthan, Chattisgarh Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, south Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujrat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Orissa, Haryana, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers have also occurred at few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Andman and Nicobar and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya.
