CPI(M) has never believed in democracy: Advani

Bilaspur, Apr 23 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today said the CPI(M) has never believed in democracy but has always used democracy for strengthening itself.

Before leaving for Kolkata for campaigning, Mr Advani told reporters here that the CPI(M) had resorted to unfair means during previous elections and had reacted strongly whenever the Election Commission had taken measures to curb it.

He said the BJP will continue to strive for sustaining democracy in the country besides struggling for power in a bid to establish a responsive administration in the country.
