Advani to campaign in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu

Bilaspur (CG), Apr 23 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani will campaign in West Bengal today and in Tamil Nadu tomorrow, former Union Minister Anant Kumar said today.

Mr Kumar, who is accompanying Mr Advani's during his Bharat Suraksha Yatra, said Mr Advani will leave for Kolkata from here today.

He will address three election meetings in West Bengal and two in Tamil Nadu.

Mr Advani will resume his 'Bharat Suraksha Yatra' from Shahdol district in Madhya Pradesh on April 25. He will address several public meetings en route Neemuch.

Mr Kumar said the Bharat Suraksha Yatra has traversed 2,795 km thus far. The yatra began from Rajkot in Gujarat on April 6 and reached Chhattisgarh negotiating its way from Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.

Mr Advani has addressed 112 public meetings and 156 welcome ceremonies during this period. He travelled 263 km in Chhattisgarh and addressed nine public meetings and 13 welcome ceremonies.
