Sharad Yadav wishes speedy recovery to Mahajan

New Delhi, Apr 22 (UNI) Janata Dal (United) president Sharad Yadav wished ''early and speedy'' recovery of BJP general secretary Pramod Mahajan, who was attacked at his residence today.

Mr Yadav termed the attack on Mr Mahajan a ''most unfortunate and an act of cowardice.'' The Member of Parliament also spoke to the family members of Mr Mahajan over telephone and wished for his speedy recovery.

Mr Mahajan, who was a Union Minister in the NDA regime, was shot at by his younger brother Pravin Mahajan this morning.

He was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
