Rahman expresses shock over attack on Mahajan

New Delhi, Apr 22 (UNI) Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairperson K Rahman Khan today expressed shock and anguish over the attack on BJP general secretary Pramod Mahajan in which he was critically injured.

Describing Mr Mahajan as one of the most promising and pragmatic national leaders, Mr Khan, in a statement issued here today said, ''I am deeply concerned about his well being and pray to Almighty for his speedy recovery and healthy long life.'' The BJP general secretary was shot at by his brother Pravin this morning at the former's Worli residence in Mumbai.

He has been admitted to Hinduja Hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical.
