One miner died, three injured in mine accident

Dhanbad, Apr 22 (UNI) One miner was killed and three were critically injured when the roof of a coal mine caved in at Bostakola area of BCCL last night, police said today.

The body of the miner, who was identified as drilling man Nedhu Mandal, was recovered.

The injured were admitted to a hospital.

BCCL area manager P K Chakravarty said an inquiry would be conducted to find the cause of accident and ex-gratia payment would be made to the family of the deceased.
