Naxals kill former Janpad President

Jagdalpur Chhattisgarh, Apr 22 (UNI) Naxailtes killed a former Janpad President at Ganjenar village in tribal-dominated Dantewada district, police said today.

Superintendent of Police Pravir Das said the ultras barged into Chamruram Gawde's house last night and forsibly took him away.

Later, the extremists slit his throat.

Senior police officers rushed to the spot.
