Jodhpur court verdict on May 4 in Salman case
Jodhpur, Apr 22 (UNI): A local court, after completing the hearings on the petitions of actor Salman Khan and others filmstars filed against the February 27 court decision, has reserved its verdict for May 4.
The actors had appealed at the Upper District and Sessions Court (Number 3) of Magistrate Pankaj Bhandari against the February 27 of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) where charges were framed against Salman, Saif Ali Khan, tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam along with six others, who have been accused of killing two black bucks in Kankani village in Luni area on Oct 1-2,1998.
Charges were framed against them in the court of Judicial Magistrate Dalpat Singh Rajpurohit. All those framed had appealed against the charges.
The court had framed them under the Sections 51 and 52 of Wildlife Protection Act and Sections 147,148 and 149 under Arms Act of India.
Besides the five filmstars, a local man Dushyant Singh has also been framed. The actresses were supposed to have accompanied the actors on their hunting expedition.
