Inspection teams to check development works in Haryana

Chandigarh, Apr 22 (UNI) The Haryana government has decided to constitute Inspection Teams at the district level to carry out 100 per cent physical inspection of works implemented by various engineering departments during 2005-06.

An official spokesman said here today each team would be headed by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) concerned or any other IAS or HCS officer to be named by the Deputy Commissioner.

He said the other members in the team would include Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) of the department concerned.

The teams would submit their complete reports by June 30.

The spokesman said each district level team would inspect at least 10 per cent of the works of each department.
