Fidayeen attack on Airforce convoy, militant killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 22 (UNI) A fidayeen today attacked an airforce convoy on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, a Defence Ministry spokesman said.

He said a militant driving an explosive laden van car made an attempt to dash the vehicle against an airforce vehicle at Awantipora on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.

The fidayeen in the car was blown to pieces, he added.
