Fake Glucon-D factory unearthed, 1 arrested

New Delhi, Apr 22 (UNI) Police today claimed to have unearthed a fake Glucon-D factory and arrested a 44-year-old man from Kirti Nagar area of West Delhi in this connection.

Sandeep Khullar, a former bank employee, was arrested following a raid at his Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase I factory premises yesterday, according to the police.

He was operating the fake glucose powder factory under the garb of running a cutlery unit and was selling it in several cities except Delhi.

Khullar started manufacturing glucose powder, owned by multinational Heinz, in 2004.
