Diamong polishing unit's office ransacked by workers

Surat, Apr 22 (UNI) The office of a diamond polishing unit at Varachha here today was ransacked by a group of workers over wage demands.

Police said the workers stormed into the office and damaged the telephone and other office equipments after shutting the door.

Managers at the unit described the incident as a minor one and claimed there was no ''serious labour problem''.
