Dhanoa JR National Basketball Championships from May 27

Chandigarh, Apr 22 (UNI) The Punjab Basketball Association will organise the 57th Dhanoa Junior National Basketball Championships for boys and girls at the Guru Nanak Stadium Indoor Basketball Hall at Ludhiana from May 27 to June 3, according to association president Additional Director General of Police Rajdeep Singh Gill.

More than 40 teams from different states and Union Territories and Boards are expected to take part in the Junior Nationals.

Meanwhile, the PBA will conduct selection trials to choose probables for the forthcoming Junior Nationals on April 25 at 1100 hours.

According to PBA secretary Teja Singh Dhaliwal, the selected probables will attend a coaching camp from April 26 at the G N Stadium.

The 57th Junior Punjab Basketball Championship for boys and girls will be conducted at Nawanshahr from May 4 to 7. The tournament will be played on league-cum-knockout basis. Matches will be played at the Kirpalsagar Academy and Shivalik Public School courts.
