CPI does not want PDP support: Bardhan
Palakkad, Kerala Apr 22 (UNI) Communist Party of India(CPI) General Secretary A B Bardhan today said his party did not want the support of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) of Abdul Nazar Madani in the assembly elections.
Talking to newspersons here, he said the CPI, would not share platform with the PDP in election campaigns.
The PDP had declared support to the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) in the polls .
Mr Bardhan described as ''day-dream'' the statement of senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu that the UPA Government at the Centre, would collapse after the elections.
He alleged that the BJP would ''sell'' its votes to the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) in the elections, as it had done previously.
