Centre pursuing anti-Gujarat policies: Modi
Ahmedabad, Apr 22 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today accused the Congress-led UPA Government of pursuing an anti-Gujarat policy.
He was speaking after laying the foundation stone of a flyover in his Maninagar Assembly constituency.
The Centre's proposal to stop construction work at the Sardar Sarovar Project was a direct attempt to create hurdles in the development of the Gujarat, Mr Modi said.
He alleged that successive Congress governments in Madhya Pradesh from the times of D P Mishra to Digvijay Singh, had also tried to stall the Narmada project and added he would bring out a ''white paper'' to expose the same.
