BJP to play vital role in making next govt

Kohima, Apr 22: BJP's northeast organisational in-charge V Satish has claimed that his party would play a vital role in the formation of next government in Asom.

Addressing a news conference at Dimapur yesterday, the BJP leader said the Congress would be ousted when results declared in Asom as its popularity was on the wane in the region.

He pointed out the people had realized the futility of the Congress as it could not bring any change or progress in its long regime in the region which was once its stronghold.

He said presently the Congress was clinging to just in Meghalaya and Manipur. He said in near future the party would also face white wash in Manipur.
