Anticipatory bail petition of Bhagwanlal rejected

Patna, Apr 22 (UNI) Special vigilance judge of Patna Ramniwash Prasad today rejected the anticipatory bail petition of Bhagwanlal Jha, father of the principal accused of multi-crore flood relief scam of Bihar, Santosh Kumar Jha.

The case related to misappropriation of funds meant for flood relief operations in North Bihar during 2004 calamity.

Accused Bhagwanlal Jha was not named in FIR but during the investigation, vigilance bureau found his complicity and submitted chargesheet against him recently.
