Woman commits suicide in North Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 21 (UNI) In what the police believe to be a case of suicide, a 24-year old-woman was found hanging in her house in Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar in East Delhi today.

24-year-old Dipti was found hanging from a rope inside the bathroom of her house this morning, police said. The rope was fastened to the grill of the ventilator of the bathroom, they said.

An unmarried woman, Deepti was staying along with her parents in their Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar house. Enquiries had revealed that she had gone to sleep at night at her usual time.

No suicide note was found near her body. The body has been sent for postmortem and further investigations are on, the police said.
