Two teenaged girls killed in road mishap

Davanagere, Karnataka, Apr 21 (UNI) Two teenaged girls were killed on the spot and another four seriously injured when a tractor- trailer in which they were travelling overturned near Halavagalu village, about 30 km from here, last night.

Police said the mishap occurred when the victims were returning to their village after attending an annual fair in a nearby village.

The injured have been admitted to the Halavagalu Government Hospital. The deceased have been identified as Ramani Bai (19) and Sudha (14).

The driver is absconding.
