Three more debt-ridden farmers end life
Akola, Apr 21 (UNI) Three debt-ridden farmers, including one from Washim district in West Vidarbha, committed suicide during the last two days.
According to police, 35-year-old Raju Mahadeo Pinjarkar of Somwar Peth in Barshi Takli tehsil of Akola dirstrict set himself ablaze on Wednesday as he was unable to bear the debt burden and constant failure of crops. As a result, he was not able to manage earnings for his family. Raju succumbed to his injuries at a hospital here yesterday.
Besides, Haridas Ramrao Deole (40) of Patur Nandapur village here and Hanumant Tukaram Sindhe (40), hailing from Kupti village in Washim, ended their lives yesterday by consuming poison, police added.
