Tata Elxsi Q4 net rises to Rs 11.55 crore, dividend at 65 pc

Mumbai, April 21 (UNI) Tata Elxsi Ltd has posted a profit of Rs 11.55 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 8.17 crore for the same quarter in the previous fiscal.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 52.80 crore in Q4 FY 05 to Rs 71.12 crore for Q4 FY 06.

It has posted a profit of Rs 34.32 crore for the year ended March 31, FY 06 as compared to Rs 26.29 crore for the year ended March 31, FY 05. Total income has increased from Rs 186.85 crore in FY 05 to Rs 236.31 crore for FY 06.

The directors have recommended a dividend of 65 per cent (Rs 6.5 per share of Rs 10 each) on the paid-up capital of the company for the year ended March 31, 2006.
