Sachin recovering at satisfying pace: BCCI
New Delhi, Apr 21 (UNI) Sachin Tendulkar has recovered at a pace satisfactory to both his surgeon and the BCCI and the master blaster will now enter the third phase of his post-shoulder surgery rehab program following the successful completion of the second phase.
In a statement issued today, Board secretary Niranjan Shah said a review of his condition by physio John Gloster last evening has revealed that Sachin has continued to improve in his day to day functions and tissue healing.
''He has progressed at a rate anticipated by both the surgeon and myself to this point,'' the board secretary said.
Phase III of Sachin's rehab program will involve increasing further ranges of shoulder movement as well as commencing strengthening activities as tolerated.
The little master's fitness would be reviewed again on April 30 before entering the last phase of his recovery programme as suggested by Gloster after the surgery in London last month.
