Rajshree Sugars to buy Trident in Andhra for Rs 62 crore

Mumbai, April 21 (UNI) Rajshree Sugars&Chemicals Ltd will take over the entire shares of Trident Sugars Ltd for an enterprise value of Rs 62 crore.

Announcing this, Rajshree Sugars informed BSE that an nderstanding has been reached between the company and Trident Sugars Chairman B G Lohia. Trident Sugar has a 2500 TCD(tonnes crushing per day) sugar mill at Madhunagar, Zaheerabad, Andhra Pradesh.

The company said that in a full year of production Trident Sugards is expected to contribute Rs 100 crore to the topline and proportionately to the bottomline. The modalities are being worked out, while due diligence is currently being undertaken, it added.
