Mulayam helps award winning photo-journalist to travel to US

Allahabad, Apr 21 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today announced an aid of Rs 1.80 lakh to a photo-journalist, who recently won the National Headliner Award for his entry.

Press photographer Rajesh Singh had come first in the prestigious photo competition of the US.

When he told the CM that he had no money to meet the travelling expenses to the US, Mr Yadav immediately announced a help of Rs 1.80 lakh.

The Samajwadi Party supremo was addressing a public meeting after laying the foundation of UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University building here.
