Moists blow up minister's house

Daltanganj, Apr 21(UNI) Proscribed CPI(Moist) extremists blew up Jharkhand Water Resource minister Kamlesh Singh's house at his native village Kachara-Kangarpur village in Palamu district late last night, police said today.

No one was injured in the explosion.

At about 2200 hrs the extremists surrounded the village and asked the people to switch off their mobiles and disconnect the telephones. Then they gheraoed the minister's house and blew up the house by blasting a dynamite, police said.

Senior police officials with additional forces arrived at the spot at wee hours today and launched a combing operation in the area to nab the extremists.
