Indium receives one million dollar funding from Iris capital

Bangalore, Apr 21 (UNI) Indium Software, a leading provider of software test automation and quality engineering solutions from centres across the country, has secured around US Dollar one million funding from Iris Capital Ventures for its technology and market expansion programme.

Company CEO Raghunandan, in a release here today, said Indium continued to be the leader in ensuring repetitive and repeatable quality for areas as diverse as enterprise applications to high-tech areas like wireless/network and CTI/VoIP.

The company would use the new capital to establish two centres of excellence -- wireless/network datacomm and enterprise applications in Chennai, which had a huge potential in terms of improved infrastructure, while other markets were moving towards a saturation point. These centres of excellence were aimed at strategically moving customers to an off-site/off-shore quality model. Tactically, they would aim at becoming world class independent pre-certification bodies in the chosen technology areas.

With offices in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Sunnyvale, USA, Indium was a global company with a current annual growth rate of 100 per cent.
