Shanghai, Apr 21 (UNI) The inclement weather suddenly turned out to be the biggest odd with both Shiv Kapur and Jeev Milkha Singh stranded at the final hole in the second round of the BMW Asian Open after lightning struck the Tomson Pudong Golf Course here today.

Shiv Kapur was going one-over with one more hole to go when it went dark and heavens opened up. Shiv's truncated round featured a string of par shots intercepted by a bogey in each nine -- on the eighth and 15th.

Winner of last week's China Open, Jeev Milkha Singh also struggled with the wind and was left at three-over with one more hole to go. After his even-par show yesterday, Jeev was done in by a poor front nine that included a treble of bogeys and his backward journey was an average affair too, with another bogey on the 11th and the lone birdie on the 13th.

The duo of Gaurav Ghei (75) and Amandeep Johl(76) completed their second round but are certain to miss the cut with a two-day total of seven-over 151.

Henrik Stenson was at the final hole of his round when the storm struck and the Swede tops the leaderboard at five under par.
