HC summons UP PS (Home)

Lucknow, Apr 21 (UNI) The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court today directed Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary (Home) S K Aggarwal, to present himself before the court on April three, during the hearing of Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking special security for public and religious places.

Hearing the PIL filed by a lawyer Ranjana Agnihotri, division bench of the HC, comprising Justices Jagdish Bhalla and D V Sharma passed the order.

The PIL in the wake of the March seven twin blasts at the Sankatmochan Temple and Varanasi Cantt Railway Station in Varanasi has sought special security for all religious and public places in the country.
