Patna, Apr 21 (UNI) The LJP today accused the NDA government of displacing family members of leading freedom fighter Suraj Narain Singh.

Describing the act of 'vacating' the house as 'condemnable and unfortunate', LJP legislative party leader in the Bihar Assembly Maheshwar Singh and newly elected party MLC Sanjay Singh told newspersons here that family members of the freedom fighter were now homeless as the government evicted them from their house at Beerchand Patel Marg here without making any alternative arrangements.

''The family was displaced despite an assurance given by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar that the members would continue to live in their home, which was an abode to them for the last 33 years,'' they said.

The LJP leaders said the Nitish Kumar government had in fact established 'Kushashan'(bad governance) in the state though it always projected itself as a dispensation committed to values of 'Sushashan' (good governance).

''What to say about common people, even a District Magistrate rank officer is attacked during the NDA rule in the state,'' they remarked while referring to the bomb attack on the DM of Vaishali.

They alleged that political rivals were being killed under the NDA regime. ''There were 2925 killings, 1646 kidnappings and 2218 rapes during the five month rule of the Nitish Kumar government,'' they said and accused the NDA government of being 'casteist'.
