Dr Bajpai, an acclaimed scientist in the field of nano-science, expressed his hope that research in this area would elevate GJU to the level of an international seat of learning.

''Though we are going to introduce five new professional and job-oriented courses from the coming session but the M Tech in Nano Science Technology and Optical Engineering would make us quite distinctive from all other universities of the country,'' he said.

The new courses in design and embedded systems, integrated product design and manufactuing and print and graphic communication, would immediately provide jobs to the PG students in the national and international markets, he added.

''We want to usher in the new era fully equipped with advanced science and technology and our students should be most sought after by the government and the private sector. from Now on our will be on science and technology only,'' Dr Bajpai said.
