NEW DELHI, Apr 21 (UNI) The Supreme Court today ordered a CBI probe into the kidnapping of 9 year old son of a mechanic working in Supreme Court scooter stand after Ghaziabad police drew blank in tracing the child Deepu who was kidnapped in 2001 allegedly by a Delhi police constable Raj Kumar and one Vijay pal.
A bench comprising Mr. Justice B.N. Agrawal and Mr. Justice P.P.
Naolekar issued orders for CBI investigation after the court found the conduct of Ghaziabad police dubious which has failed to trace the child even after five years.
Petitioner Kailash Chand today alleged that he was still receiving threats from the kidnappers of his son at odd hours in night. It may be the wife of the petitioner had lost her balance of mind due to constant torture by the culprits and the local police.
Deepu was kidnapped along with his sister. The girl was found sitting at Police station Vijay Nagar in Ghaziabad (UP) but the boy is still not traceable and according to the petitioner the culpritis have been telling him that his son had been killed.
Constable Raj Kumar is presently posted at police station Mandavali in East Delhi.
