BSF shot dead two Bangladeshi smugglers

Balurghat, Apr 21(UNI) Two Bangladeshi smugglers were shot dead when they were trespassing Indian territory at the wee hours today, the BSF said.

They, identified as Md Faridul and Md Rafiqul, were crossing the Elendari border of South Dinajpur district of West Bengal with smuggled goods.

They were shot dead when they deifed the order of halt.

The smugglers were the inhabitants of Dinajpur district of Bangladesh.

South dinajpur Police Super Barun Mallick has confirmed the incident.
