Bangalore, Apr 21 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hrs here today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over coastal karnataka and south interior karnataka.Mainly dry weather prevailed over north interior karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Subramanya, Ramanagara, Kollegal one each.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over coastal karnataka and remained normal over interior karnataka.

Bagalkote recorded highest maximum temperature of 38.8 degree celsius over the state.

Forecast valid until Sunday morning:Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over interior karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over coastal karnataka.

Forecast for farmers: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Koppal, Raichur, Gadag, and Haveri districts of North interior karnataka and Bangalore rural Bangalore urban Kolar Tumkur and Chitradurga districts of south interior karnataka.
