Ash suffers injury at film shoot

Badami, Karnataka, Apr 21 (UNI) Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai suffered an injury during a film shoot in this historic town in Bagalkot district of Karnataka today.

Aishwarya was shooting for renowned director Mani Ratnam's new Hindi film 'Guru,' also starring Abishekh Bachchan.

She was rehearsing cycling for a song sequence when she slipped, injuring her arms and legs. Following the incident, shooting was suspended.

Talking to UNI, Dr Kanthi, a local medical practitioner who treated Rai, said the injuries were minor and there was nothing to worry.

Bagalkot Superintendent of Police Padmanayan told UNI that the injury was minor and the shoot was likely to continue in a couple of hours.
