Transport dept asked for details of changes in bus routes in Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) The Delhi Transport department has been asked to furnish details of the changes made in the number of buses operating on different routes along with the recommendation of surveys on which such decisions were taken.

The direction was given by the Public Grievances Commission while hearing an appeal under the Delhi Right to Information Act 2001 wherein a citizen had demanded information on how the number of buses on different routes was being decided by the transport department.

In another case pertaining to the Patparganj area, the commission directed the department of industries to allow a citizen to view the videography which has been created relating to encroachments on land owned by the industries department.
