Syngenta in red, suffers net loss of Rs 1.31 cr in Q1

Mumbai, Apr 20 (UNI) Syngenta India has posted a net loss of Rs 1.31 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 (Q1 FY 2006) as compared to a net profit Rs 3.22 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 (Q1 FY 2005).

Announcing the results, the Company said its Total Income (net of excise) has decreased from Rs 142.40 crore in Q1 FY 2005 to Rs 82.72 crore for Q1 FY 2006.
