Meet on agri, processed foods on Apr 22
Hyderabad, Apr 20(UNI) The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) in association with Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) is organising a national seminar on ''Agri and Processed Food Exports-Emerging Trends'' here on April 22.
Speaking to newsmen here today, FAPCCI President CV Atchut Rao said the emerging WTO regime offered considerable scope for export of Indian agricultural and processed food products to the global markets.
This called for a closer look at the opportunities offered by agri-products and their competitiveness in the international markets. Mr Rao said the objective of the seminar was to disseminate the information on current trends and opportunities in Agri and Processed Food exports, Export Financing, Government Schemes and Agri Exports and to make recommendations for enhancement of Agri and Processed Food exports from Andhra Pradesh.
He said State Minister for Marketing Botcha Satyanarayana would inaugurate the seminar.
WTO Advisor AK Gupta and Agro Tech Foods Limited Vice-President Atul Singh would also participate.
