Thrissur, Apr 20 (UNI) CPI National Secretary D Raja today said the Left parties would reconsider support to the UPA government at the Centre after the Assembly polls in four states and Pondicherry.

He told reporters here after the polls, the Left parties would discuss the matter separately and collectively.

Mr Raja said his party had, however, completed discussions. He alleged that the Congress was gaining an advantage by taking decisions unilaterally on economic and foreign policy, going beyond the Common Minimum Programme.

The CPI leader, who was here as part of his election campaign tour, said a grassroots level wave was spreading in the state against the UDF and expressed the hope that the LDF would come to power to provide transparent governance.
