Fly to South East Asia for Rs 14,000 only: Singapore Airlines

Mumbai, Apr 20 (UNI) Singapore Airlines today announced a special discounted summer fare of Rs 14,000 to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and/or Penang from Mumbai and return in Economy Class.

It has a ticket validity of one year. Commencing from April 20, this fare will be available for sale and bookings till September 30, this year and will be valid for travel out of Mumbai on day flights SQ 421 and return on day SQ 422 or night flights SQ 424 from Singapore.

Announcing this special offer, Singapore Airlines General Manager India B K Ong said, ''We are introducing this special fare to tie in with the summer holiday season so that more people can afford to travel to South East Asia. This is part of our effort to continue to grow in the leisure travel community, while at the same time giving maximum value at the most affordable price to our customers.'' Passengers travelling to Kuala Lumpur and/or Penang can avail of this facility and may stop over at Singapore one way or both ways without having to pay more on the fare.

They can buy air tickets through their travel agents, Singapore Airlines or through its website singaporeair.com, he added.

Singapore Airlines presently operates 47 weekly flights to eight destinations in India viz-double daily flights to Mumbai, daily flights to Delhi and Chennai, five times weekly to Bangalore, four times weekly to Kolkata and Hyderabad and three times weekly to Ahmedabad and Amritsar.
