FA reject Carsley's appeal, misses rest of season

LONDON, Apr 20 (Reuters) Everton midfielder Lee Carsley's appeal against his sending-off against Chelsea has been rejected and he will miss the final three games of the season, the FA said today.

Carsley was shown a straight red card two minutes after the re-start for a foul on Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba in Monday's Premier League game.

Chelsea won 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to move within one point of successive league titles.
