Bush urges China to use influence on N Korea

WASHINGTON, Apr 20 (Reuters) President George W Bush today urged Chinese President Hu Jintao to use his influence to help resolve the conflict over North Korea's nuclear program.

''I continue to seek President Hu's advice and cooperation and urge his nation to use its considerable influence with North Korea to make meaningful progress toward a Korean peninsula that is free of nuclear weapons,'' Bush said at an arrival ceremony for Hu at the White House.
