Bus catches fire as CNG leaks
New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) More than 60 passengers of a Blueline bus today had a miraculous escape after it caught fire at Africa Avenue in South-West Delhi this evening.
However, no one was injured in the incident, according to the police.
The gas of the CNG bus, running on route no 621 (Munirka to Mori Gate), started leaking when it reached Africa Avenue forcing passengers to board down.
After all the passengers had alighted, the leaking tank caught fire and a part of the bus was burnt.
Fire Brigade sources said two brigades were sent to douse the flames, whose call was received at 1620 hrs.
