Vaughan's availability for Yorkshire subject to fitness
London, Apr 19 (UNI) England's regular captain Michael Vaughan will play for Yorkshire in this year's county championship if he is able to recuperate from the knee surgery, coach Duncan Fletcher has said.
Fletcher, has also announced the contracted and non-contracted players, who would be available for the domestic championship in the period leading up to the first Test against Sri Lanka at Lord's on May 11, an England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said here.
None of the contracted players would play before the beginning of the next month, except for Simon Jones and Marcus Trescothick, who would be playing for Glamorgan and Somerset.
Andrew Flintoff, who led the side in the absence of Vaughan in India, will only play one of Lancashire's C&G match on May 7.
Two of the injured pack, who did not play against India -- Stephen Harmison and Ashley Giles' availability is subject to their fitness levels and among the non-contracted players Monty Panesar will play from the very onset along with Shaun Udal.
