Two killed in accident in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Apr 19: Two people were killed and ten injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with a tipper lorry at Vandalur, near here, today.

Police said the car was proceeding from Tambaram to Vandalur when it collided with a stone-laden tipper lorry near the Zoological Park at Vandalur.

Two of the 12 people travelling in the car were killed on the spot, while ten others suffered injuries. They were admitted to Chrompet Government Hospital, police added.
