Two die as police, protesters exchange fire in Nepal
KATHMANDU, Apr 19 (Reuters) Nepali police exchanged fire with anti-monarchy protesters in a town in eastern Nepal today and at least two demonstrators were killed, a local official said.
About a dozen people were wounded in the shooting in Chandragadi, 600 km east of Kathmandu, the official said by telephone.
A local journalist said up to four people may have died.
