Two dead and 27 injured in accident

Balurghat, Apr 19 (UNI) Two people were killed and 27 injured during the last 24 hours in two separate accidents here.

Last night a tractor carrying 40 people to a marriage party overturned killing two people on the spot and injuring 18 others.

Jiten Hansda(16) and Kajhi Murmu (40) died in spot and 18 people were admitted to Balurghat District Hospital. The bride and the groom are safe.

In incident accured accident this morning in Pagliganj a bus rammed into a stationed trekker loaded with people. Nine people were injured in the accident and were rushed to Balurghat District Hospital.

Hospital sources said two people had lost their both legs and four were in critical condition.
