TTD to perform mass 'upanayanam' on Apr 30

Tirupati, Apr 19 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will hold a mass ''upanayanam'' (sacred thread ceremony) on April 30 at Tirumala.

In a press release here today, the TTD said the ceremony will be performed on the auspicious day of ''Akshya Tridhiya'' falling on April 30.
