Silver and gold zooms to highest peak

Mumbai, Apr 19: Prices of spot silver and gold zoomed up at its highest peak in the closing session today on bullish global advice, traders at the bullion market said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 21,835 (20,640), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,215 (9,100), Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 9,270 (9,145).
