Notorious criminal found dead in garbage dump in Mangol Puri

New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) An anti-social, involved in several criminal cases, was today found dead in the Mangol Puri area of North Delhi, police said.

The body of 22-year-old Mohammed Nazar, a resident of Mangol Puri area, was found lying in a garbage dump in Y block of the area this afternoon in a severely mutiliated condition, police said.

The body bore severe wounds including incisions in the ribs and blunt wounds on the head.

Investigations revealed that Mohammed Nazar had at least four criminal cases registered against him in the Mangol Puri police station area. It was also found that the deceased did not have a good reputation in the area.

A case of murder has been registered and further investigations are on.

Meanwhile, Nazar's wife alleged that her husband died in custody and he was last seen with the area Constable.
