NCDEX records trade worth Rs 4,414 cr

Mumbai, Apr 19 (UNI) As many as 591 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 4,414 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 98,300 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseeds, chana, silver, gold, wheat, wheat and urad, a NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, about 775 members had participated in trading and put through more than 91,620 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 4,968 crore (one way).

Active trades were in urad, guargum, silver, gold jeera, chilli and lemon tur, the release added.
